Each cookie cutter includes three recipes from the special recipe box of Susan Butler, a fellow Featherweight friend from Texas: Sugar Cookies, Buttercream Icing and Royal Icing (for intricate decorating). Black plastic cookie cutter measures 3 1/4" high by 4 3/4" wide. Cookie dough recipe yields about 1 1/2 dozen.

This black mat features a complete schematic of parts of the entire Featherweight with views of the motor, foot controller and tension unit as well. We have sourced these designs from various manuals and rare Featherweight documents in order to compile the most concise Featherweight schematic. The mat is 3mm thick, and the underside backing is rubber to help keep it in place during a machine service and / or to use while sewing; it has a bound edge for a clean finish.

This polishing kit can be used on your Featherweight and any painted sewing machine. *Buffing cloth color may vary.
Fits the Featherweight! Open-Toe Quarter Inch 1/4" quilt piecing attachment - scant 1/4-inch seams with precision! Greater visibility for stitching half-square triangles (HST) and paper piecing (see photos). If you happen to have the Graduated Throat Plate, then the 1/4" line leads your eye right to the edge of the foot for a scant 1/4" seam allowance. Otherwise, using the right edge of the foot as you can see in the photos is what you will align your fabric seam allowance to when stitching. Because of the openness of the foot, you have to stitch a little bit slower as you come to the end of your stitching line and the edge of the fabric, so that the feed dogs will guide the fabric straight.
This foot also works really, really well for paper piecing because you can see the stitching lines so clearly all along the stitch path.
LOW SHANK: fits the Singer Featherweight 221, 222K and all low, vertical shank Sewing Machines (i.e. 15, 27, 28, 66, 99, 185, 127, 128, 192, 201, 206, 237, 306, 319, 320, 328, as well as many other brands besides Singer)
Not all electronic foot controllers are the same. Our electronic foot controllers have been properly tested, making sure the plugs are properly suited for use and function. We also make sure that the plug to the machine is properly situated - the foot cord is at the front of the cord and the wall cord is at the back, for the 221. (Otherwise, it makes for a shorter cord to the floor or is just a plain nuisance!)
Another benefit to this Electronic new foot controller is that it has a wider foot base for easier speed control... Like stepping on the gas pedal instead of a small button. The length of the cord from the plug that goes into the machine to the actual foot controller unit is 55 inches.
This controller is suited for 110 volt electricity (North America) and the plug has the three round-pin holes (like most all 221 machines require). Most 222K machines, however, require a plug to suit the three flat pins on their machine receptacle. Therefore, if you have a 222K free-arm Featherweight, this controller will only work on your 222K if it uses 110 volt electricity and if it has been suited with the more common round 3-pin terminal receptacle.
The Featherweight Accurate Seam Square simplifies seam accuracy. Achieve a proper seam allowance fast and easy by lowering the tip of the needle through hole of the desired seam width then use the square to align the edge of the Featherweight Accurate Seam Guide (sold separately). Fasten the seam guide in place and your seam allowance guide is set. Raise machine needle and be ready to sew!
Accurate Seam Square is black and features the gold trim to emulate our vintage black Featherweights. Keep gauge handy whenever you want to set the ideal quarter inch seam allowance. Some quilters prefer a true quarter inch whereas others prefer a scant.
