This product claims to be the best at eliminating, (not just covering up) all organic odors - including, but not limited to the Singer Featherweight Case.  We believe it works very well for smelly cases, too!  We've even tested it on odoriferous vehicles, shoes, pet smells, strong cooking odors, etc.  It's even been tested in mortuaries!  It can be sprayed, poured or wiped directly on the source of the odor.  There are approximately 200 squirts per 1 oz. bottle, but it is highly concentrated and even a bad smelling case would only need a few squirts.  For mild odors, one or two squirts will suffice, but for stronger, moderate smelling odors try 3-4 squirts.  Close case lid and let sit for a couple hours.  Repeat as necessary.   Highly concentrated, eco-friendly, odor neutralizer!

The Featherweight Accurate Seam Square simplifies seam accuracy.  Achieve a proper seam allowance fast and easy by lowering the tip of the needle through hole of the desired seam width then use the square to align the edge of the Featherweight Accurate Seam Guide (sold separately).  Fasten the seam guide in place and your seam allowance guide is set. Raise machine needle and be ready to sew!  Accurate Seam Square is black and features the gold trim to emulate our vintage black Featherweights.  Keep gauge handy whenever you want to set the ideal quarter inch seam allowance.  Some quilters prefer a true quarter inch whereas others prefer a scant.

Not all electronic foot controllers are the same. Our electronic foot controllers have been properly tested, making sure the plugs are properly suited for use and function. We also make sure that the plug to the machine is properly situated - the foot cord is at the front of the cord and the wall cord is at the back, for the 221.  (Otherwise, it makes for a shorter cord to the floor or is just a plain nuisance!)   Another benefit to this Electronic new foot controller is that it has a wider foot base for easier speed control... Like stepping on the gas pedal instead of a small button.  The length of the cord from the plug that goes into the machine to the actual foot controller unit is 55 inches. This controller is suited for 110 volt electricity (North America) and the plug has the three round-pin holes (like most all 221 machines require).  Most 222K machines, however, require a plug to suit the three flat pins on their machine receptacle.  Therefore, if you have a 222K free-arm Featherweight, this controller will only work on your 222K if it uses 110 volt electricity and if it has been suited with the more common round 3-pin terminal receptacle.

Stitching in the ditch is great for beginning quilters. Ordinarily, when you stitch in the ditch you must keep the stitch as close to the middle of your seam as possible and your eye on the needle at all times. You do not want your stitches to wander in and out, far away from your seam. (Therefore, it is important that all seams align perfectly so that your stitch will be in a straight line.) And while it is still important to have a watchful eye on the needle, this 'Stitch-in-the-Ditch' foot helps alleviate guessing and serves as a smooth guide with which to stitch. (Note: You should always practice first on a small sandwich.)  The guide on this foot is perfect because it allows you to stitch just a hair's width from the seam, keeping your stitching line straight. It is the ideal foot to have for seamstresses (as well as you men who sew, too) as another tool for Understitching - where you press seam allowances to one side and top stitch as close to the seam as possible. This holds the seam allowance down and causes the piece of fabric to stay folded under, especially useful for facings. The little steel bar aligns to your seam and guides your stitching throughout the entire project. For Quilting: Because it does not have it's own feeding mechanism, this foot would be limited to very small quilt projects where shifting of the layers is not as prevalent.
